Descriptions:

Explore this natural Green Cap Tourmaline crystal lot from Skardu, Pakistan, with a total weight of approximately 320 carats and an average crystal size of 3.7 carats plus
The crystals are presented in their natural rough form, allowing the natural crystal shapes, green coloration, and surface characteristics to be observed. Each piece can vary naturally in shape, colour intensity, crystal development, and internal features.
Tourmaline is a mineral group known for its wide range of colours and distinctive crystal structure. Green tourmaline can also display pleochroism, meaning its apparent colour or intensity may change when viewed from different directions.
This lot is particularly suited to mineral collectors, natural crystal enthusiasts, lapidary professionals, gemstone dealers, and decorative specimen collections. The average individual size of around 3.7 carats provides a practical selection of smaller rough crystals for examination, collecting, or potential lapidary evaluation.

What Makes This Lot Interesting?

The main feature of this material is its natural green cap coloration combined with the original tourmaline crystal form. Because these are rough natural crystals, individual pieces can have different proportions, surfaces, colour distribution, and internal characteristics.
For collectors, the natural form provides an opportunity to study the crystal before cutting or polishing. For lapidary buyers, each crystal should be evaluated individually to determine whether it is appropriate for cutting based on its colour, transparency, fractures, inclusions, and orientation.
Tourmaline is commonly found as elongated crystals, and the orientation of rough can influence how colour appears when the material is cut.
Please use the product photographs to evaluate the actual appearance of the lot. Natural rough material is not expected to have identical colour, shape, or surface characteristics throughout the entire lot.
